Benefits of Aromatherapy

To better understand aromatherapy benefits, it helps to know how your body processes smells.
The sense of smell is pretty powerful. In fact, the body can distinguish around 10,000 different scents! Amazing, isn’t it?
As scents are inhaled, the smell travels across the olfactory nerves located inside the nose and then up into the part of the brain that controls our moods, our memories and our ability to learn. This area is called the Limbic System and when stimulated it releases endorphin’s, neurotransmitters and other ‘feel-good’chemicals.

Wow! That’s pretty scientific stuff… not to worry, in a nutshell, what all of that means is that smells have a subtle way of effecting your mind and emotions.
Just think of the way you feel when you sniff the scent from a fresh bouquet of flowers versus your reaction when you smell something not so fresh like garbage or burnt toast. A big difference right?

Aromatherapy doesn’t just smell good, it can also benefit you in many ways. Some aromatherapy benefits that are more commonly known include:
• Relaxation and stress relief
• Mood enhancement, balance and well being
• Relief of minor discomforts
• Boosting the immune, respiratory and circulatory systems
Aromatherapy is a great, natural complement or alternative to other health treatment options such as certain prescribed medications. But don’t throw away those prescription bottles just yet.
Aromatherapy doesn’t “cure” major illnesses but it is effective at alleviating many of the discomforts associated with them.

What Are the Risks of Oxygen Therapy?

Oxygen by itself is dry and treatments in excess of 4 hours can dry ones lungs.  Most oxygen party bars humidify the oxygen by using aroma scented humidifiers when dispensing the oxygen.

Oxygen at very high levels and over a long period of time can be toxic and very harmful to one’s health.  If one was to receive high levels of oxygen on a daily basis, ones lungs will adjust to the higher oxygen content and one can find themselves short of breath when they are don’t have oxygen.  This is similar to traveling to a higher elevation where a normal person will easily get winded until their lungs adjust to the lower oxygen levels.  For this reason we do not recommend daily use of recreational oxygen greater than 20 minutes a day.

The reverse of this effect is why athletes train at high altitude and then compete at lower elevations when possible.  Some athletes sleep in an oxygen deprivation tents to increase the capacity of their lungs.  Their increased lung capacity enables them to absorb oxygen faster while competing and provide them with a competitive edge.

Some people are suffering from COPD and can easily become dependent upon excessive oxygen and lose their natural tendency to exhale their exhaust gases.  These people are generally on controlled medical oxygen and under a doctor’s care and they are aware of their delicate situation.  Ten minutes of recreational oxygen will probably not have much of an effect on them.

What to Expect After Treatment?

While sitting at the Oxygen Party Bar, one may not notice any difference. However as one leaves the oxygen party bar they will notice they have more energy and less aches and pains than before the oxygen treatment.  If they had lactic acid buildup in the muscles, it will be greatly reduced and ones stamina will be noticeably increased.  One will be able to dance and party harder.

If one is drinking, they will have less of a tendency for a hangover the next day. Their blood alcohol level will probably not change much but they can expect an increased tolerance to alcohol and will be less likely to be clumsy and awkward.

Oxygen Therapy

Oxygen therapy has many benefits and few risks for the average person. Generally it takes 3 to 5 minutes to oxygenate ones blood, but a 10 minute session is recommended.  If one is suffering from: headaches, hangover, migraine, stress, fatigue, cramps, jet lag, heat exhaustion, or minor aches and pains, oxygen can provide almost immediate relief.  On a longer term basis, oxygen flushes all the toxins and impurities out of one’s blood, preventing cancer from gaining a foothold.  Also, if one has minor sprains or injuries, oxygen can promote the healing of these injuries resulting in faster healing times.  Oxygen is also known to improve memory and concentration levels.

What Is Oxygen?

  • Oxygen Is A Clear, Odorless Gas That Can Easily Be Dissolved In Water.
  • Oxygen Is Essential For Life, Over 62% of The Earth’s Crust (by Mass) Is Made Up Of Oxygen.
  • Oxygen Makes Up Approximately 21% Of The Air We Normally Breathe.
  • Oxygen Is Absolutely Essential For Healthy Cells.
  • Oxygen Gives Life.
  • Oxygen Creates The Energy We Need To Survive And Thrive.
  • Oxygen Is Found In 65% Of The Elements Of Our Body, Including Blood, Organs, Tissues And Skin.
  • You Are Breathing Oxygen Right Now. But Where Does Oxygen Come From?
  • The Oxygen We Breathe Is Produced Mainly From Two Places. The Plankton in the Ocean and the New Growth in the Forests. The Sun’s Light Strikes the Plankton and Ground Plants, And When They’re Struck with Light They Produce O2, Oxygen.
  • This Is Why Oxygen Is Called The Spark Of Life.

What does Oxygen do for us?

Nearly all Life is based on five basic elements — Oxygen, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Hydrogen and Carbon. The air we normally breathe today consists of approximately 21% oxygen, as well as, Nitrogen, Argon and other trace gasses. Unfortunately, our Earth’s atmosphere is changing due to pollution, burning of fossil fuels and overall destruction of the ozone layer. Based on ice-core samples and old amber samples, scientists believe that our atmosphere has changed from nearly 40% oxygen to today’s 19% to 21% Oxygen levels. Higher blood oxygen levels are believed to help us in many ways.  Buy a package now.

Oxygen enables our cells to regenerate, rebuild, and metabolize our food and water supply into energy (a car uses oxygen in a similar way). Every day we breathe 20,000 times and our blood carries the oxygen that fuels our body to produce energy and clean out waste and toxins. Oxygen makes up approximately 90% each water molecule in our body. And, water accounts for nearly 65-75% our body’s mass. Interestingly, our brain makes up only 2% of our total mass; however, it utilizes 20% of the body’s oxygen consumption. As we get older, our lung’s capacity to hold air volume is reduced.

Oxygen is clearly one of the most important elements for good health because it’s our primary source of energy. For example, try to hold your breath…eventually you will need to breath. It is estimated that approximately 85% to 90% of our energy comes from oxygen, while the remaining 10% to 15% comes from food and water. For this reason, you can live without food and water for much longer in duration than you can hold your breath!

Symptoms of Oxygen

Some Symptoms of Oxygen deficiency may include the following.

Oxygen will heighten concentration, alertness and help fight off Depression.  Oxygen has been known to help with relaxation and sleep disorders, prevent disease, relieve hangovers, and Alleviate headaches. A human being can live weeks without food, days without water, but only minutes without oxygen.

People have used aromatic botanical essences (essential oils) to enhance the surroundings as Well as promote health.  Today we can all experience the abundant and profound influence of essential oils on our lives. Essential oils when combined with oxygen stimulate the senses and begin to alter ones mood or condition in positive ways. Science is just now rediscovering the power of aromatherapy through essential oils, the lifeblood of the plant kingdom.

Health Practitioners contend that when essential oils are inhaled with oxygen the life force of the body is stimulated to conditions of Tranquility, harmony, invigoration and an overall feeling of being refreshed. The theory is that aroma signals the part of the Brain that control emotions. Research has shown specific smells produce physical effects within the body.

Effects of High Purity Oxygen

People who have tried breathing oxygen assure that it helps them relax, reduces stress, increases concentration and alertness, and promotes general feelings of well-being. Those who breathe it regularly say they sleep more soundly, they wake up happier, it lifts up their spirit and it rejuvenates them. Oxygen is one of the five basic elements of all life: Oxygen, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Hydrogen and Carbon).

There are several forms of Oxygen, however the most common and stable form of Oxygen is “O2” or Diatomic Oxygen. Oxygen is a vital element to good health and it’s our primary source of energy.  90% of our energy comes from oxygen and the other 10% comes from food and water.  With Oxygen Enriched Air (OEA), the body will metabolize food more efficiently, generate more energy and create a healthier body.

Have you ever seen athletes breathing oxygen at a sporting event? Athletes agree oxygen increases their performance, endurance, and energy level.  Athletes and athletics require tremendous amounts of oxygen to convert carbohydrates, sugars, fats and proteins into heat and energy required for their high activity level. This conversion process is known as Oxidation and what is Oxidized (or burned) for the body’s energy are carbohydrates, sugars, fats and proteins.

However, Oxygen is the “Fuel” required to oxidize all or any of these foods.  Without the presences of Oxygen, these foods would Oxidize very poorly resulting in a poor cellular reproduction and function, which would cause inadequate production of energy.  Since Oxygen is the main Fuel required to Oxidize your  carbohydrates, sugars, fats and proteins into energy, a lack of oxygen will promote an inadequate Oxidation  process (poor burning of foods), which will result in a lower percentage of your foods being converted into energy and high percentage of your foods turning into fat.  The bottom line — “Oxygen is an element that you can live with!”
